From 11 July 2011 our previous chef left us to return to India. We are hoping to announce the arrival of a new chef in the next few days. Robert and Cat both regret the situation and hope that their dining customers will soon be able to return and enjoy new culinary experiences.

The Crown, a charming country inn, has been a feature in the village of Weston since 1593. Weston has several claims to fame including Lord Lucan having been allegedly spotted in the pub, the night after his children’s nanny was famously murdered in 1974.  Local attractions include Llama Trekking, Silverstone Motor Racing Circuit, Sulgrave Manor & Canons Ashby. Nestled between the M40 & M1, Weston is conveniently close to Banbury, Towcester & Brackley yet located in an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Taken over by Robert Grover in 2003, The Crown has become known for its excellent food, wine & friendly service.  The team at The Crown, is rightly proud of the recent great reviews from The AA, The Good Beer Guide & other local publications.

The Crown has everything you could ask for, excellent beers, fresh seasonal menus, welcoming staff & a friendly atmosphere.  There is a guaranteed choice of something different or traditional on the menu.  A selection of freshly made snacks is available at lunchtime.

Robert is now married to Cat, and she had their first child last year - he will join a long successful line of children brought up in this very happy, family friendly pub.
